went to go check on animals this morning, we had 6 indian runner ducklings and now we have 5. We let them free range during the day since we have a million slugs and bugs and plants for them to eat.
At night since our property is fenced in and they sleep in the barn at night by themselves. "Butters" who passed away was found this morning in one of our plastic kiddie pools with his or her head hanging on the outside rim. The water was clean.
Looking at the body I couldn't find any reasons for its death.
Im just so confused as to what could have been the culprit.
