6 year old stuck in a balloon flying through the air

Because they were on Wife Swap, doesn't mean that they seeked it out or was seeking to be in the lime light. WS is looking for families of diversity and a storm chasing family would make a good swap.

I have a friend who owns a Christmas tree farm and has been approached twice by the show because they wanted a southern lady who farmed trees. She said they would pay her $25,000 to appear ~ she told them no both times.

I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt and never rush to judgement on these types of stories until the whole truths comes out...simply because the media has a way of twisting spins on it, and we really don't know what is happening yet on the investigation.

A tragic story that always stays with me where a man was tried and found guilty by his peers (us) and the media:

As I said, I hope that I am wrong. Either way, this family should be investigated just to be certain. But I don't think that the media should either find the family guilty or defend them until all the facts are known.

I agree, we all rush to judgment all to often in this country. Sometimes it is justified and then other times it results in a travesty of humanity and justice. It is clear the family likes media attention, but to put the responsibility on a hyperactive 6 year old would be stupid even for the most challenged. Sometimes circumstances are just coincidence.

I really dislike this family! The father is OCD at it's finest and the mother is a slave to her husband. I have no problem what he does for a living but just how he does it! Dragging kids out in the middle of the night, yelling at the mom to load the car. I don't care how you edit it, still happened!

Then you fake your son being in a ballon, waste tax payers money , law enforcements time and get testy/defensive cause your son OUTS you on TV . Poor kid even threw up from nerves or stress.

Like i said, Where's DCF? LOL

Won't be watching that show!

I doubt that the father is going to have a news conference and say it was a hoax, even if it was. Personally I do not believe it was, but the family clearly loves media attention and was trying to take advantage of the circumstances.

I do believe the media has acted with very much bad behavior with jumping to conclusions and trying to convict the family on tv, radio, and television. I watch Fox if I watch news and I was disgusted with the innuendo, god forbid one of us should find ourselves in a similar situation.

I do not understand why Fox has Geroldo on their show in the first place but he is the last one that should be talking about a hoax as he as been caught in several. Maybe that is why he feels he is a expert on them.
