6 year old stuck in a balloon flying through the air

I saw a video clip of this...

Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderden, who says he and his trained investigators believed the family's story, says the recent CNN comments have "raised everybody's level of skepticism" and he hopes to interview the entire family again on Saturday.

It will be interesting to see the final outcome of this investigation.

Rushing to judgement--- why not? It's what people do.
And

In my judgement that family is wachoo. Driven and lead by dad.

As I stated before some one needs their arse busted.

Is any one on TV normal?

Look up Wife Swap, Heene Family on Youtube. You will find about five parts to the show. I didn't make it through the entire program because I find these sort of reality shows uncomfortable to watch.

I have always found it odd that families who don't appear to be hurting for money would take part in these reality shows. I could understand a poor, desperate family but why someone with a nice home and decent income? Who wants that type of scrutiny?

I am scr@wed up enough. I don't need the whole world knowing.

I found this quote on one of the articles on the web.

Richard Heene said his son was confused when he made the show remark. There were media assembled on the front lawn, asking all sorts of questions, and that's what Falcon was referring to, Heene said Friday morning.

One thing about this family, their kids did seem a bit out of control. So, although it is possible that they did it for a stunt, it is also possible that the boy was doing exactly as his family has said.

The sheriff said that he had experts on body language look at this family and concluded that they were being honest.

Maybe this will be a wake up call for this family and they will get more control over their kids.

Those experts also interviewed the children without the parents without the parents objection. Clearly if this was a stunt the parents would have never allowed that. But I do believe the parents took advantage of the situation though, and were trying to make some cash before the story wore out.

In my opinion, the video of the balloon "escaping" is probably the worst acting I have ever seen in my life. On that alone, how could *anyone* believe that this was not totally bogus? It is so obviously fake, it is laughable (unless that is footage they really filmed at a different time and it is not being reported accurately).

I also find it nearly impossible to believe that anyone, especially someone that is even an "amateur scientist" would believe that flimsy balloon could lift a child into the air. I mean the thing was paper thin. If a child was in it, would you not see some sort of extreme sagging and movement where the child was inside? You would see that if even something weighing a few pounds was in there. Seriously, again- it is laughable that they would *really* believe that. Ludicrous.

That combined with the appearance in which the child says they did it for the show makes them appear to be guilty as charged. Based on the other questions in the conversation, the boy clearly knew they were talking about the incident, not the reporters in the yard. I don't mean there is a small amount of doubt. I mean they look guilty as heck. I think there is about a .00000000000000000000000000001 chance this was not staged.
