I am resisting the faverollie eggs......... I just dont trust online shopping it's a good thing or I'd be in tons of trouble

No Favorilles? Loved my girl..made a great mama too!

As you can see, I made this for a welcome post.

I thought I would post a picture of how I hatch my eggs. I take the racks off the turner and set back in the incubator. They hatch well for me that way. I also put a water bottle in as a heat sink to help heat stay constant at hatch.
That's great. Now, you need to post photos as they are hatching in there like that. Man, are those the color of eggs that I will be getting for the EHAL?! Those dark ones in the back? Gorgeous!

All I've heard is that the virus has already mutated so much that the flu shot isn't effective anymore; they are coming up with a new shot.

Okay, thanks. It always scares me about these things. My dad only has one working lung (thanks to the coal mines) and gets pneumonia easily so the flu can be deadly for him.

I made these for my wife. Recycling up!! I took old wooden windows and last year(2014) chicken calendar and cut out some of the picture and white siliconed them around the edges to the back of window panes.

Love this! I have a son that got me a decoration tray, with a photo in it for Christmas. Showing this to my DH. :D He got me a beautiful rooster calender this yr.

:caf  I am eyeing some silver wnyandotte eggs....how bad of an idea to have em shipped all the way from east coast to here would it be hrmmmmm................think I wait until see if these hatch

Mine shipped from back east. None were cracked...Will update on how they hatch. Can't candled them too dark.

Had to post one more picture because I feel like I hit the chicken lottery! The newest chick is a naked neck! Earlier this year I lost one of my two naked necks to an impacted egg and I was so sad. Of course she was my favorite. My 2nd had just started laying when I set these eggs to hatch and since they all use the same nest I wasn't sure if any of hers were in this batch. But now I guess I know. I feel very excited and fortunate!
