On a different note, I am loving what Oregon is doing to FSU!!!

My SO is watching the game as well, cheering Oregon on. I'm upstairs on BYC, glued to my incubator!

Good luck with your hatch!

Moved everyone to the brooder, including the wry neck chick. I have 2 Sweeter Heaters, so he gets his own, up higher to accommodate his container.

I have 13 out of 18 that were set. One clear, tossed at day 10, one culled and 3 not hatched. I'm going to move those 3 to the hatcher. The incubator looks like a scene from the Walking Dead. It's shocking, every time I go in there. I need to clean that tonight! I don't think the 3 will hatch. I candled them. One from the fridge looks good, the other two have large air cells. I don't know what that means. I can't see movement in any of them, but my flashlight isn't great. All in all, I'm happy with my hatch. Thank you Ron for hosting. Thanks everyone else for the wisdom, encouragement and many laughs. I don't comment much, but I enjoy and commiserate with each post.

The chick is out now and just candled the other 7. No internal pips. They all look full can't see much more than that. I hope that atleast 1 more hatches so it can have a friend. I set them at 11:30pm on the 11th so this one was just about on time.

You could "water candle". But beware of dropping your incubator humidity if your in there lots... I'm still waiting on one... I know its alive... Well was very recently...

I think the waiting is getting to my 8yr old. He keeps asking me to help. I keep telling him no. We still need to wait a while. Ihope I get some zipping this evening. They pipped this morning and have been kinda quiet until about 30 min ago then the cheeping really got loud. I'm trying to keep busy and only check once an hour but it's hard.

Finally, the marans are starting to pip and zip! One blackcopper out! 2 Birchens pipped. Nothing from the blue coppers yet though. 5 of my 6 EE' are out. I hope this is going to go on another day or so with the marans.
Congratulations on all your 2015 babies. Condolences to those of you who had unforseen circumstances. This is my first hatch and I have learned more than i didnt know i didnt know! Thank you all! You really cut down on the fear factor. Ron was awesomely fabulous. I cant think of a better NYD...ever. What a great, generous group of people!
Pictures after I get a few more marans out.
