This Saturday I raised the brooder box up tuning it into a grower box. The 23 EE's are 7 wks old ( half I am raising for my father in law) and they are so happy. Tonight when I went to turn out the light, 2 of the EE's were on the big girl perch snuggled up to my wyndotte. This roost if 4 ft of the ground. I made it from closet rod hangers and a wooden 2 1/2 in closet rod. I have several of these and the hens love them. Apparently the new girls will, too. They looked so sweet all cuddled together.
