7th Annual BYC New Year's Day 2016 Hatch-A-Long

As of now (8:01 pm) have 6 hatched and one more pipped out of 13 Serama eggs. Hoping for more tonight or tomorrow. Seems they go from early to late. Happy to have 6 hatched as lost power an bator down to 96 when I found out. At least our of power an hour before got generator going.

Just had some shipped eggs arrive yesterday so wanted to set up turner for them. Plugged it in an nothing, cannot get it to work. Only 1 1/2 years old. Turning by hand for now.

Now that the naked necks are fluffed up - I think I have a Beaker!





Also looks like I may have some Olive Eggers! Three of my blue eggs hatched brown chicks suggesting my Barnvelder is the Pop! Fingers crossed I get a hen or two! -- My light brahma is dominant and all previous blue egg hatches have been lighter and turn white- its exciting to get some darker colors!

Looks kinda like one of her air sacs ruptured or something, I'm not sure what to do when that happens.
