Yup, we grew rice a couple years ago and making the rice paddy was frustrating cause we has to stomp around in 1 foot of mud until it was suction'y enough to push the plants in and they would stay in the right spot. That also meant it caused our boots to get stuck. So by the end we were covered in mud and our boots were filled with mud,

there were lots of spiky sticks sticking up so we couldn't be barefoot without getting painful jabs in the feet.

The worst is getting your irrigation boot stuck in the mud and your foot coming out...

Then trying to get the boot back on without falling into the mud....

Much worse than normal mud. Horse "excrement" isn't very pleasant either

Some of mine were out from under the plate in the garage. I was about 50 out there too!

I really love those brooder plates--The Premier1 more than the Brinsea. They do not use the brinsea plate much and all try to fit under the Permier1 plate.

They are so silly!

These penedesencas are total DIVAS.
They scream if there is the smallest particle of poop in their water. They wont stop until their water is replaced. I upgraded to an ice cube tray. They seem to like it better. They can poop in one section and it doesnt dirty up every section.
