Up for bids are 8+ of my BBS Cochin eggs. I have 5 eggs collected so far today and will include any collected before I seal the box shut. Fertility has been tested and all looks good.

This flock of GIANTS was recently acquired by me from a dear friend. The flock consists of 10 hens, 2 cockerels, and one cock. The cock is big and blue. One cockerel is a big blue boy that will be larger than his father when mature and there is also a splash cockerel. There are 7 blue hens, a black hen, and 2 splash hens.

My BBS Cochins are gentle giants. They are very calm. This flock is not show quality for open shows yet, but they have produced several winners for 4-H and FFA shows.

Now is the time to set your eggs for the late summer youth shows. Add some of these beauties to your line up or to your coop. You will be the talk of your neighbors.

Fertility has been great. I guarantee fresh & fertile eggs. However, I cannot guarantee hatch-ability due to many variables out of my control after the eggs leave my hands, such as shipping & handling, incubation equipment, and incubation methods. I always pack extremely well and try to include extras. Payment is by Pay Pal only within 12 hours of the end of the auction. No e-checks please.

These eggs will ship Tuesday Dec 27, 2011 (if payment is received before I need to go to the post office) or Wednesday Dec 28. If this date doesn't work for you, you may still bid and if you win, just let me know when you would like the eggs sent. Payment is still due within 12 hours of the end of the auction.

I am not NPIP yet. Please know the regulations for importation of eggs into your state.

Good Luck and Happy Bidding

The blue cock in the first picture is 9.5 lbs. The splash hen in the last picture is a little over 8 lbs. A 7 month old cockerel is 7.5 lbs. One of the blue hens is 9.5 lbs.

Jim! Care to explain to me how on earth I haven't seen these before? I love Cochins! Did you offer these on the swap and I've been blind?

. I've been dying for splashes for a long time....do you have any idea how your percentages are as far as splashes hatching are concerned? Either way...when I start hatching a lot again..I want some of these eggs!

Thanks Natalie. I sure love these guys. As of right now I have the black pullet laying, some of the blue hens (including the big hen), and at least one of the splash hens. I've had these for about a month now. My friend was selling trios out of this pen for $75. I lucked out and she needed the pen for something else. Let me know when you are ready for some eggs.

Just a note, this auction ends at a little after 3 local time. For the eggs to go out today, I need to leave for the post office at 3:30.
