8 week old hen laid first egg?

Either some one is trying to pull a prank on you, or you are trying to do so on us. No way are those birds at POL. However, if you show close up, side profile of each one including face and comb, it will be easier to determine age of birds.

All look way older than 8wks except maybe that white & black one which I'm assuming is your Cochin. You got them March 31st, they must have been older than you thought cause March 31 til May 12 is 6wks. Someones playing a trick on you ...

It’s hard to tell size without anything to scale but I also americaunas black sexlinks and a light Brahma at 6 and 5 weeks old but they don’t look much bigger in sizethe light Brahma and americauna are 5 weeks

I would agree with the other posters, someone is goofing with you. None of the birds I see would lay a dark brown egg, besides the obvious that they are too young.

I would guess yours are maybe two to three weeks old than mine given that you light Brahma a bit farther along in feathering but in any case they definitely not laying yet someone’s pulling legs

No but EEs can,,, my pullets begin to fire up at 4-8 months old, some take up to 12 months.
Does one of your girls have a really red comb?

That's why I asked for a close up pic of each bird. The close ups will tell the tale whether this is a hoax or possible. Also, placing a ruler beside that egg would be helpful. No pre laying behavior, no red combs and wattles = hoax.
