8 week old Plymouth Rock crooked toes

The one time I had an issue with a chick, it's was only 3wks old and gave it PolyVisol without the iron. Have read others give Nutri Drench or crush up a Vitamin B Complex but don't know the mg. Wait and see what the more exprienced recommend.

Ok, I will wait and see. Out of the 7 only 3 have this issue. 2 cockerels and 1 pullet. The others are fine. Never had this issue before. My broodies have had 10 chicks that are already 1 week to 2 months old and none have this issue. Unless there was a power failure while I was at work and the incubator was off for a bit.

I'm sorry there's really not a fix for crooked toes. There are several causes, sometimes it just happens, but in case it's genetic, I would not use them for breeding.

Curled Toes which is different from Crooked Toes is associated with vitamin deficiency is often successfully treated with B vitamins. B2(Riboflavin). 1/4 tablet B-Complex given once a day to a chick should be sufficient.
