Iris, I know both Iris and Irene have straight combs. All 3 are 8 weeks old Saturday.

Hera is the one I'm really crossing my fingers on. I'm hoping I kept back pullets and not cockerels!

The last one (Hera) looks like a cockerel :'( that comb is really wide... I can't say for sure on the other two cause maybe a faulty single comb on silkies could mature different than say other breeds (if that makes any sense at all sorry xD) but the other two don't look very cockerel-like though! : D

I was wondering on the slower comb growth too being a silkie? Never grew one out with a single comb. I just wanted them for eggs, and maybe hatch some babies for myself next year. So the single comb didn't bother me much. But I have 3 silkie cockerel already I have to decide on.

How did the gender reveals turn out? I’ve got 8 week old Silkies right now, one has the faulty single comb (could be a Sizzle?). Thanks!
Single comb blue turned out to be a pullet! She just started laying a few weeks ago (roughly 27 weeks). The other blue one, cockerel. Not sure on the other one! I didnt keep it long enough
