Looks like some of my Muscovy eggs are fertile!

Not hatching just wishing and wanting to hang out.....
What about papas poultry?Big west coast storm last night means no 4 hour drive for BCM eggs. Sad. Ah well, I hear our local TJs has fertile eggs, so (inspired by y'all) I will head in to town and pick up a dozen to add to my Bielefelders and barnyard mixes (doing mostly Barred Rock/BCM crosses so I can sex them right out of the gate).

Does he seem weak or is he fully awake and 'energetic' but can't get up? Try helping him stand up on his feet and see if he just softly falls like he is very weak.

I've had several chicks like this since the time I started raising chickens about a decade ago and the problem was that they were so weak that they couldn't stand up and just laid down and rolled on their backs until they died. I did manage to save one one time, but I don't remember exactly what I did. Check for pasty butt. @Bug n Flock
Have you tried electrolytes in the water? Its not on its back now. It can right itself with some effort. Not markedly weak that I've noticed. Do I just have a weird chick?
