As Mariah Carey would say, its tiiiime
Well actually it's a little early, but my joke stands
Of my 11, I am pretty sure I have mostly pullets but there are a few I'm on the fence on, there's alot of random photos below from today. Theyre 10 and 9 weeks old so I know a little early for sexing.
The ones I am unsure on is mostly the black birchen marans so there's alot of pictures of her/him as its really the only one with any wattle development so far. Noone is really redening up, and even my exchequer leghorn who has large combs and wattles regardless of sex doesn't have super pronounced comb or wattles yet.
The Cream legbar is defintily a pullet based on her colors since the males are more white but just goes to show i dont understand what a pointy or long feather is considered cause her feathers to my inexperienced eyes would say male but shes the only one I can be sure is female cause of the coloring haha!
Morticia the marans I'm unsure on
And then everyone else I'm thinking pullet but happy to hear guesses, maybe the bigger blue splash ameraucana could be a cockerel since theyre so much larger than the 3 other BSA.
Cockerels arent the end of the world for me and honestly I'm kinda hoping one of the ameraucanas is male but obviously don't want more than 1 or 2 considering ratios.
Thanks in advance all!
