I spoke with many farm veterinarians here in Maine and we tried everything. It was not an easy decision, but I decided after a week that I had given it enough time, if something was going to work. It only would have been a matter of time as Peep was beginning to peck at her butt area and I think eventually she would have pecked herself and ended up bleeding to death or getting an infection and dying that way. At least I feel I let her go with dignity. Gosh, I miss that bird--she and her sister were my favorites. Good luck and I hope you have better luck.
