9 Week Polish Chick Hen vs Roo

I have two buff laced polish. Both are now 9 weeks old. I know they are tricky to sex this young, but wanted to post and see what people’s opinions were? There is a darker one and a lighter coloured one. Photos of them together, then two of the lighter and two of the darker.

It's too early to say with certainty, but my guess is that they're both cockerels. Within a few weeks males will show the deeper colored shoulders and the long, thin, pointy saddle feathers, so 12 to 13 weeks is the best time to tell gender.

The darker one I'm pretty sure is a cockerel, it's a little early to tell with the lighter one, but I'm leaning cockerel for that one too.
