Lots of great advice here. I had an old kiddie pool leaning up against the house so I hosed it out and filled it up for the chickies. I wet the ground thoroughly and immediately felt a drop in temp. I'll put some ice cubes in their water when I check them mid day. I also opened up the service door to the run. I kept it open all night.
