98 overnight,

Our bator dropped to 98 overnight, reading 97.8 with the digital. Is this considered a drop? Will my eggs be okay? They have been in there since the 4th and some the 9th. Thank you.

They most likely will be o.k as it takes time for the the internal temp of the egg to drop. If it was at that temp for a long time you may lose some of the eggs or it may delay your hatch by a day or two. Good Luck!

I've had mine drop much lower than that without a problem! My understanding is that 97 to 101 is in the very safe range.
