I lucked out with mine
He loves them all and doesnt care if i hatch them(quails) or chickens or ducks or whatever .... only thing i cant have is anymore of is cats lol he isnt a big cat fan lol

It has been at least 2 yrs since we had Quail for nutritional/enjoyment. We had a close friend who was a compulsive hunter. Every season & hunting every legal species of game, he was there.
His health deteriorated for reasons I won't mention. But I have fond memories of chewing lightly, not to chip a tooth on the hidden bird shot. In the later days of preparing them, DH used a metal detector and passed it over the birds. But once we mastered the fine art of preventing chipped teeth, our friend was no longer able to share the wealth of his passion.

I married a duck hunter so i know all to well about chewing very lightly lol we have found lots of lead in pur meals lol
We lived 9 months on only wild game for meat and what we grew in our 40x30 garden for veggies, only certi e th9ngs we would buy...

I need to change my set amount from 33 to 37 eggs I got the first egg from my ameraucanas today so I just threw everything I got from the pens today in too lol
