ron I have eggs at several different stages, So when I candled yesterday I saw spider webs and dot sized embryos and some that are getting big and will go into lockdown on Thursday for the Christmas hatch along.
That is very exciting!

I'm sorry this took so long but everything has been nonstop lately lol. Here are my big surprise chicks that hatched in the cabinet unexpectedly. They are CX outcross babies. They're in with 2 1/2 week old seramas, 2 week old quail, and almost 1 week old silkies.

Did you see any embryos? I love seeing them dance around at this point of incubation.
Thank you for the video it really helped a lot. It appears I my cockerel wasn’t getting the job done yet because all 11 are yokers. The dark spot I was seeing is the yolk floating around no veins at all. So it looks like I’m out on the New Years hatch but I’m getting a janoel 12 from Santa next week so maybe better luck next time. I did crack open a few eggs collected in last week and 4 out of six look fertilized to me what do you think?
