One of these days, i will have bees.Yes, you can still harvest honey, between 15 and 20 kg (30 to 40 lbs) without feeding sugar in the winter. Here we harvest around midsummer and we plant buckweat, late flowering sunflowers, Phacelia and Reseda nearby. So the bees have a good chance to collect enough honey for the winter.
