Greenfire had only roos available, we said we’d take them all! We really love this breed, and would like to see it prosper. Update; only 4 roos available now. They’re going fast!

I'm not surprised. I've only heard great things about Biele roos!

Yep! It's what sold me! I have two little girls- I couldn't afford to have some bat$%*! Crazy boy running around the joint. Fingers crossed my sweeter than sweet BCM cockerel stays that way!

Black Copper Marans too? We hatched (1 each), and obtained, basically two flocks from Greenfire. Josette did an amazing job with her "hen picker" for the Marans. Of 7 BCM, there was only one cockerel. I had ordered two Biel boys for my 5 pullets. One has been separated because I'm concerned he might be weaker or sick. So- the 3 BCM are in the brooder with the Biels. Both boys come out first, but, the Marans jumps on my lap and the Birl is still sizing me up.

No..... I can't say the same for the BCMs. In that case..... they seem to be individuals both good and bad. Josette is wonderful, always helpful. I am lucky I can pick up my chicks at GFF, 45 minutes from my house.

I am excited to announce the hatch of two Bielefelder chiicks (pullets) in the incubator - hopefully Buffy will also have some hatching in the nest.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! I'm SOOOOOO jealous, my Biels are a long way from laying eggs (about 10 weeks old now) but I do HOPEFULLY have a couple of Splash Marans and BCMs due to hatch 2/29 - wish me luck with my leap year babies!!!!!!
