A Bielefelder Thread !

Here is a pic of my wife's first biefielder hatched today. Only one so far from eight eggs. She wanted one really nice hen to add to her "pet" flock. Hopefully this will be the one she is looking for!

My little Biel/NN pullet weighed in at over 17 ounces for 6 weeks. Not as big as her mama, but not too shabby either, and she's the friendliest little girl I've ever hatched.

Okay, so learned two of my chickens are Cream Legbars lol and not Bielefelders, which is okay!
Do these guys look like Bielefelders?

Hatched 3 cockerels and 1 pullet and have 9 more eggs in the incubator due to hatch May 6th, kids are so excited. Hoping for more pullets!

Cream Legbar and Biele look a lot alike as chicks. The legbar pullets will get the crest on top of their head and then the more gold coloring of the Biele will start to come in.

I lost my little girl chickie from last hatch. Now I just have the little boy. I'm sad....
