It's possible I guess. The only other tom I have is mottled black so I don't know. Kevin Porter is the one who said that Adam is bourbon buff so I just trusted him on that. The other possible mothers are Bourbon red, red bronze, and bronze

I ran a Mottled Black and didn't come up with anything that would have that type of pattern on the poult.

Apparently the Turkey Calculator is not infallible because when you enter the settings for a Red Phoenix (b1b1 Ccg Rr), the calculator says it is a Harvest Gold (b1b1 Rr).

we have our first batch of 16 of our own Narragansett eggs in the incubator. Our tom sure has the "appearance" of doing his job. I guess we will find out in a couple of weeks

I saw my RP tom finally doing the deed! I was going to video it, but I did not want to horn in on Holm's thing.


The Tom was on the hen and she was whining and crying the whole time. She has spent 2 months trying to have him jump her and when he does she screams rape! What a witch-w+B.
