I spent about 45 minutes sitting on a bucket with the toads, all of them around my feet picking them up and holding them.. Some nibbling at my legs...
I wonder why meat birds have to be so darn friendly. They should have terrible personalities so we want to kill them....
You are better off letting it stay. Trap it and get it fixed if you can and then re-release it. Studies have shown that if you get rid of it, others just move in to take over it's territory. But when you get it fixed & re-release it, it can't produce more offspring and no new feral cats move in to take its' place.There is one feral hanging around the neighborhood. I've been lax, I need to trap it & get rid of it. However, Sunday as the turkeys & I were collecting the neighbors mail we confronted it in her backyard. Both girls fluffed, fanned, stuck their necks out & marched toward it. That cat got the weirdest look on its face & ran.
