I had a poultry that was a runt last year. The hens had just gotten up from the nest and it was 100°F outside, so the doghouse was sweltering, and thus little guy hatched out alone. When I found him, he was close to death and had severely heat stroked to the point that his little bug eyes were just rattling around and his body had gone limp. I immediately put him in the Hatcher at 97°F and bumped up humidity, and after several hours and some nutridrench, he came around. He survived, but was always runty.
