I read the costume rules....looks like it's open to all fowl. So....I expect to see Romeo in a pumpkin costume.....LOL....I remember the last time Aurora tried to get a turkey in clothes!!

Yeah, it should be interesting lol. I'm not sure if the Pumpkin costume is big enough for him but I guess we'll see!

Yipee Holm!! Oh man that would be great!! And I'm hoping Aurora can squeeze Romeo into the pumpkin costume. They actually have some sponsored prizes. I'm not good at photo shop....but maybe I should get one of the guys in our graphics dept to do something! I feel like a cheater...

Well I didn’t think about the red head being a sign but yes it’s head gets very red when it’s after food or excited about something. I just don’t get it. We got the bird back in may and it was maybe 5-7 days old. Very young. So at the most it’s 5 mths old. When you say it turns red is it neck and head or just head or what? It turns a deep red from neck all the way up into the head. Sure I can find a pic where it’s like this.

So when you say it gets red is it neck and head or just neck or just head? He does turn a very dark shade of red when he gets irritated or excited. His neck and sides of his head change color. And a lot of the different colors it looks like he has in chest feathers aren’t actually different colors. He has almost irradescent coloring on almost all of his feathers. Has some on his wings and back and sides that are a lighter tan. Gonna see if I can look at its chest closer today.
