I've never made broth from the feet but I still save them for my dogs. They absolutely love them! I may try it eventually.

Ralphie...explain to me why my teenage Speckled Sussex don't explode? All they do is eat! Little foraging machines. Had a hawk fly over the yard today...all the birds headed for cover. At a run. One of the little SS actually managed grab a bite of something while on the run.

I can't do pickled pigs feet either.

I was raised with pickled pigs feet and they were delicious.

Morning all. My German grandma used to make pig tails. I think there was cabbage involved. She'd call dad & he would go over for a dinner of pig tails. I guess it was a treat. We were young & stayed home with mom...who I'm assuming thought it was NOT a treat.

NO WAY IN.....errr Hades I am doing anything with the feet except throw them away.....That is so...so....so..

I cannot even say the word...yucky!!

I made broth with all twelve pairs of feet from butchering turkeys last week. Very good broth.
