I have not even seen a turkey egg yet
And when you guys sent the polar vortex down I left them in the coop for 3 days... also I tracked them in the snow and no nests.
However they are checking out the nest boxes and acting rowdy

I think I picked up a half dozen turkey eggs today and 3 chicken eggs.... worthless chickens!

My turkeys are not showing much sign of laying. I did get a white sport Marans today!!

there's a lone legbar pullet in there with a pile of Marans.

Out of 52? Chicken hens I am getting maybe 6 eggs a day
I was getting 12 before the cold
One jenney started then yanking the chickens out of the favorite box

I haven't been getting many eggs either. The Marans and Olive eggers are giving me a couple every day and 1 orpington is laying but that's it out of maybe 30 hens. I'm lucky to get 1 turkey egg a day now too but that's because half the girls are broody!

I had been getting 2 or 3 turkey eggs a day..... they must have heard me say that next week my DD wants me to load more Nn eggs in the bator instead of turkey, cuz I got none today..... silly girls!

Do these look fertile to you at all? There's only one turkey laying, but we don't think the tom has it figured out yet... Number 3 and 4 look a little bullseye ish, but its hard to tell. Should I just stick the next couple of eggs in an incubator and see if they develop?

Sara, They look good to me, BUT I always have a hard time telling from photos. I would give them a try.

best way to know for sure put em in and candle in 7-10 days.... lol
