Thanks R2, I know what I need to do, but am having issues just doing it. It's amazing how attached you get to a bird you saved from death's door. I have a handful of BBWs that made it through winter. Next warm weekend day, i think we'll process the black tom and the BBWs and try again this year. I've started negotiations with my feed supplier who is sorry he can't give me good turkey starter. He seemed very thrilled that I had a source. If he can work out a reasonable price for storage, I'll have 50 bags shipped to him. I'll have to work out the mix with my nutritionist, but I can do that. Shipping is the same cost for 10 bags as 50 bags. Pretty much a flat $200.00
