Can spring finally be here?? Got some rain last night, but today through the weekend is going to be warm & sunny! Things are all abloom here. Including my sinuses!

I am not sure if spring will get here, but I am harvesting sap! I need to get some new filters today. Amazing how much grit and fines there is in boiled down sap.

On the egg front, they have not turned to turkeys yet.....

I have some that are bigger and some that are a large chicken egg size but they look similar. Some are browns some look Pinker... usually have speckles. This was a very large one

I have some (Royal Palm) that are not any larger than a hen egg and have very very spots. I caught my wife trying to eat one the other day! Bad Woman! Bad!!!

hmm.. maybe they are then. They don't have spots though, at least not that I can see, I haven't looked with my glasses on. lol
I'll try and get a picture when I get home and get your opinions.

and she is a very young hen, if that makes a difference. about 7 months old

Surest way I've found is to crack it open. Shells and membranes are much tougher on the turkey eggs.
