A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

One of my poults hatched with a missing outer toe... I thought it was just a clumsy poult until was doing a once over on all of them checking navels and whatnot. Odd... I used my crappier backup incubator so wonder if the temps varied too much or if my new hen that started laying has some crappy genetics in there...

On a lighter note...it was a beautiful day here yesterday. Girls got mobbed by roving kids on bikes. Daisy of course relished the attention. Annie thoroughly inspected the bikes. As they rode off Daisy started flapping. I swear she had thoughts of flying after them. Now that would be a weird sight. A little gang of kids biking around the neighborhood with a turkey flying amongst them.

Work at our firm came to a standstill yesterday. Nothing like a bunch of architects watching one of the most iconic buildings in the world burning. Just so sad. I could feel it in the pit of my stomach. Sorry to go all architectural on ya...still hard to believe.
I was right there with you. very sad.

I heard they saved a lot of the artifacts. But wanting to hear about the organ. It's one of the largest in the world. Just went through a renovation a few years ago. Spent a year in France going to school & had the privilege to hear several organ concerts. The old girl could really roar.

Sorry...being obsessive. That 18th century organ has 8000 pipes. She's a monster. They are saying it "may" have survived.

I read that this morning that the organ looks to have survived.

"The cathedral's iconic twin bell towers were visibly intact. The 18th century organ that boasts 8,000 pipes also appeared to have survived, along with other treasures inside the structure, officials said."
