Well...I was battling rush hour traffic to work... so the only thing ringing in my ears was dumb drivers!!

I just wish the grass would get tall enough TO mow. My poor cows have got to be sick of hay. I’m glad I bought “way too much” last fall. I’m beginning to worry I’m not gonna have enough.

Today has already been a very up and down day. Lots of high followed by lows. I was so excited to find a bunch of chicken of the woods (mushrooms) and thought that nothing could bring me back down. Then I came home to find Cuddles, dead in the yard. She had asked to let her out to forage this morning and it was such a beautiful day that I let her, Pebbles and Cynthia out. I have no clue what happened She was my favorite girl and will be missed terribly. It's so hard to believe that I won't hear her yelling at me to pay attention to her or feel her pecking my shoulder, asking for a hug anymore.
