I don’t have your patience. Even Tweety fights being held.. only lapper I have are SS... and that’s because they are natural born lappers.

It does take patience! And incremental progress. Took awhile for the mottled to settle. Still working on the penciled. Yhe drama queen!

I had the young @holm25 lad here today...

With a little Tom Sawyer’ing He volunteered to climb the ladder, which he had to fetch from a nearby building, and check the kayak eggs.

The hen could not resist rolled oats on the floor and flew down for them.

She had 4 eggs. Holm claimed they were all bad. Knowing they had been up there when it was 90 in the shade I had no doubts he was correct..

We replaced them with a dozen or so chicken eggs.

Now I at least know when they will hatch.
