A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I don' think so. I think it is one of those Narragansett or more likely Bronze Semi-Color Semi-Gray varieties that you cannot find any reference pics for.

I should line them all up for pictures and you can post them on Porters.. I have gotten some weird looking turkeys of late..

I think I need to get a bourbon Tom to make it more interesting.

Ralphie....LINE 'EM UP! We can play " Guess the Variety "! They are interesting!

I would like to get a good game of snood pulling on video too, there was one yesterday.. it was a 4 way pull!

I thought the RP had his ripped off but it was just bleeding a tad . He has a huge welt on the top of his head from it though...

I did not have my phone handy to video it.

I can't post anything to the Facebook group because I will not allow Facebook to run on my computer.

With the mixed color genetics that you have, the second and third generations can get really interesting. If you still have any Rusty Blacks or Rusty Slates, you can create Bourbon Reds through selective breeding. You are right though it would be good to bring in some outside bloodlines. You could also go with Regal Reds since they are homozygous for the red gene. The difference between Regal Reds is that Regal Reds are homozygous for the Black Winged Bronze gene (b1b1) while a true Bourbon Red will be homozygous for the Bronze gene (bb).

You really ought to bring in some penciled genetics too.
