A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Memphis my hens are not broody at all. I guess he just decided if his girls were not going to hatch him some children he would just do it himself. A couple weeks ago I thought he was just molting real bad due to all the feathers I started seeing in pen. Then I caught him pulling his feathers and starting to sit on eggs. If no eggs he is out doing his normal strutting. As soon as an egg gets laid he heads to the nest when the hen leaves to sit on it.

Well...one of the two I was hoping were bearded hens is hanging in the living room with the pet Tom and (as if it wanted to spite me or something) walked right up to me and gobbled in my face....when ever I bought ducks I always ended up with hens and no drakes... but turkeys apparently my luck is opposite lol
Yeah 2016 I bought 2 BBB and they were a pair. Was hoping for jakes. I also got 4 eight weeks old nari that they thought was 2 pair. Of course they were all jakes. 2017 I got 3 mixed heritage and I finally got a hen.:wee
