Well...we have fun folks on our thread...but wasn't sure if anyone was close to Odgen. I've only met Fred Gobblers...and we had a fun visit! He even met the coonhound. Since I'll be traveling a bit....just thought I'd check to see if anyone is close. Oh well...

We ended up last night with some big fluffy snow flakes falling. Nothing stuck, but it was sure pretty....for the 10 minutes it snowed. So now I've had my snow fix for the year!!

Hope all east of me survives the storms. It was a crazy day between the thunder storms & tornadoes.

Hey...my coonhound "tail dialed" my sister!! Tossed my phone on my bed. Came back to hear my sister saying "hello, hello" & the hound standing there staring at the phone.

@memphis if you ever fly in to State College, Martinsburg, Ebensburg or maybe even Pittsburgh let me know!

I attempted to go to work this morning...i got to the end of our road, did a nice 360 and came home. Maybe the main reads were good and salted but there was no way I would make it up our hill to get to the main road. Everything was a sheet of ice. I did make an attempt though. Give me snow, and I'll show up, but ice, forget it. Kids are on a 2 hour delay as of now. We'll see if that changes. Hope you all are safe and warm wherever you are!

Here are some pictures from the bus stop this morning. Yes, the kids did have school. The main road at the top of the hill looked manageable. Not clear, but manageable. The kids were slipping around all over the place, waiting for the bus. We were able to make it up the hill to the stop and safely back down but I was clenching the whole time (DH drove). We could see where someone slid right off the road on the way down :/
