A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

It might be too cold but I'll see if I can snag a cooler from the clinic, a vaccine cooler might have enough insulation to protect the eggs. Hey R2elk, where does one find the egg foam for packing?

When I ship, I just line a box with foam then wrap each egg in bubble wrap. Fit then semi tightly so they're not flopping all over the place. I close up that box then place it in a lager box with egg cartons and newspaper as buffers to fill the gaps in between. I have 72 hour heat packs that I throw in with the newspaper/ egg cartons. Works pretty well :)

But your a Southie!!! Unlike us hacking out a meager existence Above the arctic circle.
We need insulation and a heat source until July 4th when it’s safe to ship eggs.

It's supposed to get up to 50 here today and was really nice yesterday too. It's supposed to start dropping down for the weekend. Of course, I managed 3 days off in a row (yesterday, today, and tomorrow) and I woke up with a scratchy throat yesterday so I can't even go out and enjoy the nice days. Today, I have a wonderful dentist appointment to get some cavities fixed. I've been waiting 4 months and will be losing our insurance soon so I can't reschedule. It definitely should be interesting lol. DS also has a swim meet tonight semi locally, at the school I went to and used to swim at so we've been planning to go. I wonder if i can put caution tape around a section and sit in the middle with a sign, "WARNING! This person is sick and had her mouth drilled today. Enter at your own risk!" I'm am excited to go though. Not only to see him swim but maybe I'll get to see my old swim teacher. He was always my favorite teacher. I guess we'll see.

Aghhh....swimming! Love it!
Hope the dentist isn't too rough on you!
It's already 65 here, but drizzling. It's been so damp the girls haven't had a proper dust bath lately. You'd think I'd have better things to worry about besides the girls getting a dust bath!
It's been below zero all this week. We knew real winter was going to happen, but we were hoping for a little global warming. Supposedly we get some warming action this weekend when it gets slightly above zero! Heat wave!
