He is the most expressive dog I've ever been around. You can just almost read his mind. You were so spot on about that trait! He grumbles when he's unhappy. . he has a sad groan that sounds like he's saying "Oooohh" and he has a happy grumble voice when he's thrilled to see you and telling you all about it.
Oh. .I was going to mention one difference between mine and yours. . mine is very much on alert. He is going to be very protective. . providing he isn't dead asleep in a food coma. Rofl. I don't normally even notice when the other dogs bark outside. .but he does. And he's gonna find a window or door to look out one way or another to investigate.
The other day there were some city workers walking around my yard looking for a sewer line.. OMG he about lost his mind.
A home invader would not go unnoticed in the night with him raising the roof that's for sure.
He's doing much better keeping his paws off the kitchen counter. .but I catch him staring up there longingly when there's food and
He's thinking about being naughty.
He hopped up on the coffee table couple nights ago and stood there and looked at us like. . is this ok The cat does it?

We always trained dogs off surfaces by putting a piece of paper over a mousetrap. It scares them a lot without harm

Looks like I'll be working on saddles on my days off. Every time that I think I've got myself ahead, I'm wrong lol. Last January, I sold 12 saddles all month.... this year, I'm up to 32 already! Popularity is growing!

Only 1 tutu so far this year. I think it's more of a Halloween through Christmas thing but we'll see. I meant to get one together for Valentine's day but never got around to it.

Went to put the girls to bed. Hens all filed into the coop as usual. But....wait! No Skinny Iris to be found! 20 minutes of running around trying to find her. I was panicking. Until something caught my eye. There she was....sitting on top of the garage just watching me freaking out. Little snot! She flew down for some BOSS.

Every evening since the night I found Romeo in the nest box with the babies, he's been laying in the run outside with the teens all snuggled up with him. I think he really likes playing daddy!

Romeo! I just love that! Try to get more pics!! Hes always been a special guy. But never thought he could qualify for daddy of the year. Get good pics and hang onto them for one of the mini-contests....like the broody contest! That would be hysterical. They need a contest for best daddy bird around Fathers Day!! LOL!

I'm still proud of how we represented our birds in those mini-contests! And the attention the turkey folks got!!
