A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

So turkey mama, my original hen from 2016, has me trained.
A storm was rolling in and she was running around with her 2poults. I was blocking off part of the poultry yard because the toms are trying to breed hens warming poults.
She came where she could look me in the eye and then looked at a coop that is fenced off for breeding chickens. Rather frantically when it started thundering. I opened up the fence and they ran right in. She hadn't been able to get in that coop since a hen got injured late winter or early spring. Everyone seems to be getting along so I will keep her in there.

I have an egg thief.
Found a marked turkey egg under a tree outside the poultry yard. Hole in the middle of the shell, yolk running out, not much blood though. Hole about marble size. Not sure if a hen kicked it out or something reached under. I have 3 hens sitting in the poultry yard so I assume a squirrel took it from them.

What a smart girl Molpet! She sure let you know what she wanted! Love it!

Egg theifs! A pox on them!

My girls were already hanging in the pen when I went to tuck them in. Of course they had to talk about it.

Blackberry and Strawberry :)

Jerry....we're getting storms this weekend.

Wild hen gobbling. That's interesting!

Boy, lots of dogs don't like thunder. Seems a lot of them are fine when young, but develop a fear as an older dog. What kind of dog is Sammy?

Is that cat you fed still around??

Have not seen the cat again . Sammy is a Chihuahua about 10 pounds . Getting old and grumpy . He growls when he does not like something . Like being petted in bed . He is like I am trying to sleep .
