Ha which bones does she want? I have a few buried under a new compost pile and I will probably get more anyway

I have only gotten two raccoons this year. One big female and one male. I do have a third one coming through but it appears to be interested in the bird feeder rather than the turkey eggs in the traps.

Molpet...go to the UKC Coonhound Assoc and see if you can find a club close to you. These guys would love the opportunity to hunt them!
Not sure about Mason, but my coonie will kill a coon.

Molpet... where are you? I may know a hunter in your area. I've met a bunch from all over the place at the Classics. They are held 4 times a year & usually host over 1000 coonies. Now that's one loud & crazy show site. Then they all go hunt. It's crazy cool.

It's not hunting season though
I'm in northern Illinois near Joliet.
Not sure the neighbors would appreciate coon hounds especially the one that feeds them

Hey guys, I have some wonderful news! I got a new job I'm putting in my 2 weeks notice tomorrow and won't have to deal with walmart and working in freezers anymore lol. I've been hired at the State Park just around the corner from my house. The pay is better and it's seasonal so I'll have off 4 months over the winter. I'll be outside cutting grass, cleaning bathrooms, and working on assorted projects. No more 4am either. 7-3, mon- Friday with rotating weekends I just had to share with all of you!

The turkeys area all doing good but I'm dealing with a night time predator. It was smart enough to get the bait out of the trap without getting caught last night and dragged the trap 30 feet. It annihilated my silkie pen the other night. I only had 3 hens survive.

Wow! I'm soooo happy about your new job! That's wonderful news!

Sad about the silkies, though. I hope you can catch the culprit.
