Just wanted you to know that DW had a stroke Friday. We're managing through it....

I am sorry to hear this, Bob. I am hoping all will get better. DH had several but always managed to get everything back. My thoughts are with you both.

On the game cam yesterday, we saw that 2 raccoons, a fox, and an owl stopped by for a visit. The raccoons managed to get the side door of the main coop open but didn't get in. A group of young growouts did get out though, never to be seen again. Of course, one was DD's favorite pullet, my favorite show girl chick is gone, and most of the silver penciled rocks :/ We installed a padlock on that door yesterday though so they're not getting it open again. I had to go to bed early because of work this morning but DH woke me up when he came to bed to tell me that one of the raccoons is in the trap. 1 down! At least 1 to go!

I am up to 12 racoons removed and at least one more I seen this morning.
and the stupid turkey hens have started new nests out in the poultry yard

What fun would it be to watch the game cam for just the right moment....then let the coonhounds loose! Aurora....this may be your opportunity to get a dog! Nice little TWC. They are so sweet....your husband may really like one. Mine got two possum this week.

I don't think he would have the patience for one lol though I did plant a bug in his ear for a LGD... maybe sometime in the fall when I get laid off for the winter so I'd be home to train...I may be pushing my luck though lol
