Still fighting the baddies here. We got 2 flock bandits so far but the trap keeps getting moved so there's at least 1 more. They managed to get one of my geese the other night through a very small gap in the run. Lollipop didn't deserve that. He was such a sweet, friendly, and outgoing guy. I came home from work that day and just held Sunshine and bawled. Sunshine is a lonely goose now. I have to catch him every evening and put him up in the coop where it's safe. He hates that and I'm afraid that the longer I have to do this, the more distant he's going to become. He was never as affectionate as Lollipop but at least he kinda was with me. I don't want to lose that. Stupid raccoons!!!

I hate the racoons anymore. . And I had a pet one as a kid.
The dog proof traps are great. I had several that kept tripping the havahart.

About 2 this morning the coonhound started barking & clambering at the backdoor. Thought he had to potty. Let him out. He raced to the back & I heard a fight ensue. Coon. By the time I got shoes & flashlight...he had killed it. He had a claw mark. Wish I could have witnessed the takedown

I have one that I suspect some a**hole relocated. It will not go in a trap and is also avoiding the DP traps.

Probably, the town folks like to relocate by me too... like there's anywhere 10 miles from someone that doesnt want coons... actually would need to be farther than that

I, personally, despise wild animal relocaters!

They should put their big girl panties on and do what needs to be done to end the problem..

If I could prove who is doing the squirrel relocating, I would not hesitate to turn them in to the G&F.

The idiots don't have a clue about the harm they are causing to both the animals and their neighbors.

I used to have a wildlife rehabber about a mile away. Tagged predators used to show up. She could legally release on her property. I talked to her .... Soooo , when I took care of the problem...I used to return them to her driveway in the middle of the night. ... This was before security cameras
