Ralphie thinks I am a south also . Yet to my cousins in MO I am a damn yankee . Silly cousins our immigrant grandparents did not get here until about 1900 . No dog in that fight .

I had relatives that came over about then too....and one's that were in Virginia and fought on the Union side.

I am confused? How did they fight in CW1?

I had bad punctuation
Mom's paternal grandparents came from Ireland.
Dad's maternal great (however many) grands were in Virginia.
