A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

The little guy who hatched in September is finally letting himself proclaim that he is male! First time strutting and gobbling today. I will let him be around a bit longer. Husband also discovered first turkey nest, with recent eggs, when he went to repair the barn roof after the last windstorm on Sunday. It was under the ladder he needed to climb! Yay! I scattered the eggs into the nests I want them to consider. There is one that is small, so that one I might leave as nest bait to get the girls laying somewhere I want them to, or at least encourage them in that direction!
