If she's staying on the nest, get the tom out of there. Toms should never be allowed to have access to a hen's nest. Only bad things happen.Got my first potentially broody hen of the season. 10-11 month old white Holland girl. She’s been sitting on one egg just about the entire day. Luckily she wasn’t attacking me, just scooping the egg back under her very quickly whenever I would take it out from under her. I don’t really have any pens big enough to break her, but I’ve never let a turkey hen hatch eggs so I’m not sure how well it’d go to let her incubate eggs. As of right now she doesn’t have anything under her, if she keeps sitting should I let her brood in her little corner, or try and muster it up to break her? She’s penned with a jake her age right now.View attachment 3504347
