I put eggs in the incubator and they are looking good - I'll let Petrie have a few if she's still sitting when they get to lockdown.

Odds on her continuing to sit if I pick her whole crate-nest up and move her outside into the coop? I know moving chickens is dicey, but usually if I can move the whole nest it's okay. Never tried to move a turkey.

turkeys are fussy about you moving them. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Good luck!

Um, your pure line of Narris are producing poults of different colors????


But, at least if they keep their $35-45 poults posted, it ought to drive more people to my $12 poult ad right?

understanding genetics, Narragansett is definitely a color that you don't need to label as "true". it is pretty visual.
