I am thoroughly confused this morning

when I went out to feed everyone, I was feeling under Pebbles for turkey eggs but for some reason could only feel 5 eggs (I gave her 6) so I lifted her up. 2 Marans, 1 rhodebar, 1 ameraucana, 1 turkey egg. What the heck? 2 of her chicken eggs are mysteriously gone? I dug all around in the bedding, looked all around her. They're nowhere to be found! So I'm scratching my head this morning trying to figure out what the heck? At this point, I don't have great hopes for her as a mother. At least not as an incubator. Well see what happens but week one isn't even over yet and she's down 2 eggs already!

No she's not but she's certainly yelling at me for messing with her current eggs. She actualy ventured a light peck at me this morning (she loves me too much to do it hard lol).

I am guessing 1/2 Australorp. I have a BA rooster and 3 BA hens. My best guess is BA hen, judging by egg color and size and PC rooster.

She/he has even melted the daughter of the wicked witch of the south's heart.

As she gets more into the Motherly mode, she will forget she loves you, Best wear leather gloves from now on. I do when I monkey with Ethel, and she has babies.

Boy these turkeys are taking their time growing feathers. I'm just dying to see Daisy in new plumage. Her new feathers look so much darker. And I've never seen her with a decent tail. e
