I broke an Adam egg tonight...
It bounced off the cement floor in the basement, not very high, I only gave it 4 pts for form and none for technique.

My incubator is full, I am thinking of buying another incubator or something. I wonder if I can make a hatcher in a couple days to have it working on Friday. I have 1 turkey egg hatching Sunday, I think. I will be candling when it gets dark to make room in the incubator.

I have eggs hatching on the 6th, I might put them in the foam incubators so I do not have to stop hatching. I could just pull the trays on day 18....

I am even selling a dozen Creamette eggs and a dozen turkey eggs, I try to never sell eggs.

I just pulled 80 eggs out of mine to lockdown for the hatch a long. This is what my hatcher looks like...

Only one of them looks like a possible quitter :/

AND somehow, in 2 days, i need to figure out how to fit 9 silkie eggs in there too :/

I'm not a frequent contributor. Like to read your posts. Today I'm super sad as my rescued turkey hen Penny was killed by a weasel over the weekend.

I was out of town and only found out today. Now Mabel is all alone.

I am so sorry for her. Only 7 months old.

Ohh poor Penny.. Sorry u lost her.. I didn't know a weasel could kill a turkey..
