Thank you. He was sold to us as a standard bronze but that barring was showing when he was just a few weeks old and looked really odd compared to the other bronzes they had. Oh yea, I've booked marked that site. I love it and have spent a lot of time trying to figure out the different colors. Of course I wish there were even more pictures at all different ages and angles. If we were going with my completely uneducated guess I'd say he's probably a barred bronze. I don't have the experience with turkeys to really know a lot though.
We got him to gobble by whistling the theme to Zelda though.It especially upsets him if he hears it coming from the bathroom, since it's a high up sound I guess.
